All pieces are always handmade, unique (one of a kind) and highly polished items!

For the finish, I use linseed oil, Danish Oil and beeswax, all approved for sealing wooden objects in kitchen use as well as children's toys.

Carved from a solid oak slice. Motifs burned, sanded up to 1500 grain sandpaper, oiled, waxed.

When I grew up, I always wanted to become a sea serpent and sail along at the stern of one of our dragon boats, when the Vikings set off on voyages of discovery and plunder. Then I was told I was too pretty, not fearsome enough, and better to stay home - but I still found something I'm good at! I now adorn this wonderful spoon and get, if not into the sea, then at least into the soup!
